Ronald Magat | Cumming
Ronald is a psychiatrist who works with adults, children, and adolescents. He is also a trained pediatrician, graduating from Morehouse School of Medicine in 1999. Ronald trained in psychiatry at Emory University School of Medicine in both general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship. He has been in private practice since 2009. At Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and the Georgia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Ronald has given presentations to assist and encourage primary care providers to address mental health issues in their own practices including presentations on anxiety and depression.
In addition, he is a sports psychiatrist and assists athletes with optimal performance. Ronald is an active member at Johns Creek United Methodist Church, where he helps facilitate and provide medical consultation for a depression bipolar support group and is a clinical advisor for Summit Counseling.
