Morgan Thornley | Cumming

Associate Licensed Counselor

Morgan is a licensed associate professional counselor (APC) who desires to make those around her feel seen and known. Morgan is a firm believer that Jesus meant what he said in John 10:10: “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” Morgan's goal is to help others experience that fullness of life, both spiritually and mentally. As a therapist, Morgan is relational, warm, and dynamic. Having been a client herself, Morgan understands the importance of finding a counselor you feel comfortable with. To be trusted with your stories is an honor she takes very seriously.

Morgan has experience working with children, teenagers, adults, and families in non-profit and private practice settings. She specializes in helping individuals cope with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and loss. Additionally, Morgan has education and experience working with sexual abuse, sexual reactivity, and sexual trauma.

Morgan holds a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling and a graduate certificate in trauma counseling from Richmont Graduate University. She is currently pursuing licensure as a professional counselor under the supervision of Heather Cobb, LPC, CPCS.
