Karen Tantillo | Alpharetta
Psychotherapy can be a healing experience of growth and change. Karen is a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience. She provides safe, affirming, and experienced guidance in addressing concerns related to the following issues: anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, infidelity and affair recovery, trauma, self-esteem issues, grief and loss, and life transitions. Karen is passionate about her work with adults, adolescents, and couples and enjoys partnering with her clients to help them create a more fulfilling life.
She has received advanced training in research-based approaches to relationship therapy, including emotionally focused therapy (EFT) and the Gottman method. Karen has helped many individuals and couples in strengthening and rebuilding their partnerships and marriages. Her individual work is informed by strong models of healing, growth, change, and mindfulness, in addition to her work using accelerated experimental dynamic psychotherapy (AEDP), which focuses on honoring emotions and attachment backgrounds.
Karen has two new groups beginning at her practice: one group offers strong support to women who are in relationships hurt by infidelity, and another group offers support and education to adults working through trauma.
