Judy is an ordained United Methodist minister who has worked as a Board Certified Chaplain at CHOA in the field of oncology for 10 years and as a Certified Thanatologist and Grief Therapist for the last 30 years. Her Master’s of Divinity is from Emory University. She has worked as a youth minister, an associate pastor, and a pastoral counselor for two decades. Her primary passion is to help our death-denying society learn to grieve well and to help children learn how to grieve so they know how to when they hit the teenage years and adulthood.
