Edi Wade | Atlanta
Associate Professional Counselor
Edi works with young adults and their loved ones through life transitions, anxiety, depression, variation in mood, and relationship challenges. Let’s face it—the quarter-life crisis is a real thing, and Edi brings awareness to those adjustment issues. In addition, she helps adolescents and their families acquire vocabulary for open communication in order to avoid door slamming of "just the teen years" behaviors. She also works with couples and adults who need support in transition, tough seasons of life, or communication difficulties.
Edi incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance commitment therapy, and humanistic approaches in her work with clients. Simply put, she uses sound research techniques in a way that provides a whole view of the emotional experience. Edi’s desire is to help her clients gain confidence and valuable tools by the completion of their time together so they can be their own support.
She offers video and phone sessions via confidential and encrypted software. When she’s not in session with a client, she can be found writing away on her blog at www.incremental.care. She is currently taking new therapy clients.
